That’s why we provide a wide range of services that are tailored to the individual needs of each client. We engage in a thorough in-person conversation with them and their family members to help choose the level of support that meets their specific requirements. PERSONAL CARE
Mobility Assistance
Our Caregivers assist clients with mobility and transfers using various techniques and mobility assist devices, depending on the client’s needs and abilities. This may include acting as stand-by support, helping with the use of walkers & wheelchairs, or full transfer support.
Medication Reminders
We can provide verbal medication reminders when indicated in the care plan including recording the date, time, and medication that is self-administered by the client.
Dressing
We’ll help the client with dressing & undressing as needed throughout the day and depending on their needs and abilities.
Grooming
For clients who need help with their regular grooming routine, our Caregivers will perform hair care, shaving, and nail care.
Bathing
Caregivers will safely transfer clients into and out of the shower or tub, assist with washing, shampooing, and conditioning. Depending on the individual client’s needs and abilities, we can also help them with chair showers and bed baths.
Oral Care
Oral care can include brushing the client’s teeth for them, aiding them with using mouthwash, and flossing their teeth, as well as denture care and cleaning.
Skin Care
We assist with skincare tasks including applying lotion, drying after showers, washing hands and soiled skin, and checking the skin for pressure ulcers.
Feeding
Assistance can include physically feeding the client their food and drinks, assisting them with handling utensils, portioning or cutting of food into bite sizes, and preparing specialized containers such as straw cups.
Toileting
Depending on the individual client’s needs and abilities, Caregivers can provide services ranging from minimal assistance in the bathroom up to incontinence care.
Exercise Support
Assistance can include reminding the client to exercise, setting up equipment or areas, monitoring the client’s movements for safety, and physically assisting the client with movements when indicated.
Specific tasks based on the client’s health condition and permitted services will be described in the care plan.

HOUSEHOLD SERVICES
Meal Preparation & Serving
Caregivers may make meals for clients including cooking, reheating, and organizing and serving meals or snacks.
Laundry
We’ll provide laundry service in the home including machine washing, stain treating, machine drying, hand washing, air drying, folding, hanging, and putting clothing away.
Light Housekeeping
As needed, our Caregivers will assist in maintaining and cleaning the living areas of the client’s home including dish washing, trash, sweeping & vacuuming, decluttering, making beds and changing linens, and watering plants.
Grocery Shopping & General Errands
Caregivers may buy groceries and run general errands for the client outside of the home, or accompany and assist the client in these activities.
Specific tasks based on the client’s health condition and permitted services will be described in the care plan.

COMPANIONSHIP
Conversation & Social Engagement
This is an integral feature of homecare and beneficial to one’s emotional well-being. Our Caregivers strive to maintain a level of engagement that creates a comfortable and happy environment in the home.
Hobbies/Activities
We can assist our clients with participating in their individual hobbies, as well as initiating social activities such as playing games, crosswords, scrapbooking, and encouraging light physical activities.
Schedule Management
This may include setting schedules and times for daily tasks like mealtimes, showering, exercise, tracking appointments, and reminders of upcoming commitments.
Communications
Our Caregivers can help their clients maintain their connections and interaction by assisting with reading & writing, making phone calls, and digital communications.
Transportation
This service is available with prior authorization by the agency and must comply with the agency’s written policies on employee vehicle use. Transportation can be provided to clients for their appointments, shopping, and other outings in their local area.
